Vella, Alex (22.1.1942-)

Businessman

Vella was born in Sliema and emigrated to the USA with his parents in 1957. He took up journalism, language and speech pathology courses. He spent two years at City College and Queens Community College, two years in the army, and then graduated with a BS degree in Marketing at Central Missouri University where he was President of the Adverting Fraternity. He has also graduated from the School of Organization and Management at Tale University.

Vella is founder and president of VamCom Corporation, Florham Park, New Jersey, a market-public relations-advertising firm which has gained a reputation for helping entrepreneurial business get started and expand.

Vella is married to Anne Marie and they have two children, Zane Saunders and Zachary Anson.
