Vassallo, Charles (21.11.1921-)

Consul in San Francisco

Born in Mosta, Vassallo was educated at a public school and the Army School. He emigrated to the USA in 1947, where he worked as assistant foreman for a furniture company. For two years he was a real estate salesman, before opening up his own real estate business in 1962. In 1967 he was appointed Malta consul in San Francisco. He participated in campaigns for several offices, namely for city, state, and president. He is the president of the Malta Pacific Investment Company.

During World War II Vassallo served with the RMA and the RE as sergeant.

Vassallo married Emma Attard in 1953 and they have three sons.
