Vassallo, Arthur (1911-1956)Broadcaster, UKBorn in Sliema, he studied at the Lyceum and at St Mary's College, Middlesex, England (1940). He taught in Malta and UK. He was a broadcaster with the British Broadcasting Corportation (BBC). He died in an accident in Eccleston Place, near Victoria Station, London. He wrote poetry collected in a book (Dell ta' l-Imghodd Source: Maltese Biographies of the Twentieth Century (1997), editors Michael J. Schiavone and Louis J. Scerri
