Fabri Brian (27.6.1952-)

Surgeon

Born in Balzan, Fabri received his education at the Lyceum and the RUM where he qualified MD in 1975 and continued his postgraduate studies, qualifying FRCS (Edin.) in 1980. He was appointed a fellow in cardiac surgery at Havard Medical School (USA) in 1984 and consultant cardiac surgeon and clinical lecturer with the University of Liverpool in 1986. He has been a visiting cardiac surgeon to St Luke's Hospital, Malta since 1988. He also acted as examiner in the intercollegiate examination in cardiothoracis surgery and as reviewer on the Postgraduate Medical Journal. He is the author of a number of scientific publications in his field.

Fabri is married to Norma Cardona.
