Darmanin, Margaret

Archaeologist

Ms Darmanin B.A., B.Ed., MA is a Tornoto-based archaeologist whose career has focused on the prehistory and antiquity of the Eastern Mediterranean. Darmanin was educated at the University of Toronto, where she received degrees in Anthropology (Archaeology) and Education. Presently a teacher of History and Social Studies at St Joseph's College School in Toronto, Darmanin carries out annual arachaeolgoical fieldwork in association with projects of the Royal Ontario Museum She has published in international journals, and has had her photographic works exhibited at the ROM. In addition to these activities, Ms Darmanin sings and has made recordings with the St Martin Tours Choir (Mississauga).
