Calleja Capp, Carmen L (22.3.1954-)Social WorkerBorn in Birzebbuga, Calleja studied at St Columbia's College, Essendon, Victoria, and the University of Melbourne form where she obtained a diploma in teaching and graduated bachelor of education. Calleja Capp, who has an extensive experience in the public service, is a Maltese consultant for the Victoria education department mid worked to promote and develop the teaching of the Maltese language. As secretary of de Victoria Ethnic Affairs Commission, she b involved in establishing English in the @ place for migrants and she is working in do education and welfare to develop support and maintain the well-being of the Maltese community in Victoria. She has also served as a community organizer for the ethnic co ty especially in education, welfare, and the care of the aged. In 1994 Calleja Capp was elected member of the Maltese Community Council of Victoria and was the first woman appointed director of the welfare.
