8.8 Income and PensionsThe majority (81%) of Maltese migrants were recipients of an Australian pension. A small number (4%) received a Maltese pension. Old age and widows' pensions accounted for the majority of pensions received. Veterans pensions were received by 71% of males and 10% of females.
